Hot Buttered Chai Recipe
Even though January is typically a month filled with sobriety and monk-like diets, don’t forget to treat yourself every once in awhile. Stumbled across this recipe in Chatelaine Magazine and it warmed my insides just reading about it! Use The Local Churn Organic Unsalted Butter for this recipe and go find yourself a fire and a cozy blanket and enjoy!
Mash 2 tbsp Organic Unsalted Butter with 3 tbsp of brown sugar, 1 tbsp fresh minced ginger, and 1 tbsp chai spice. Pour 2 cups boiling water over 4 bags of black tea. Steep 4 minutes. Discard tea bags. Blend butter mixture with tea and 1 cup warm milk in a blender until frothy. Pour through a sieve into 3 mugs.
